I could probably count the amount of times I’ve truly been in love on one hand if I’m honest. Don’t get me wrong every relationship I’ve been in I thought I was ‘in love’ at the time, but looking back and reflecting - I’m not sure I even liked half of those women let alone loved them!

This story has won my heart because if I were to bet, I'd think that was how he felt in reality.

He spoke in the Rabbi's book of being married to 'both' of those women and feeling lonely. Crying in bed at night. Ever been there??? I have and it's not a pretty feeling - to be 'with' someone and yet alone...

There's power in that paragraph...


Love with a woman always confused the hell out of me. If we were in love why would she sell stories to the press? Or kiss me on stage to further her career? Or get jealous of my fans? Or hang up the phone on a poor little sick girl because she wanted me all to herself? Or start a fight by cursing and arguing with me so that we could have angry makeup sex? Ava had stayed on the phone with me until the early hours of this morning but she ended up falling asleep on me.

How cute is this?? I remember falling asleep on the phone in the early stages of all of my relationships... Just... *gushes*, too sweet and cutie <3


To have a partner, a lover, a friend, a mother all in one, looking out for both me and the children is what I really want... is what I really long for I guess.

And this ^^ is what he deserves. :yes: Grace is fine, but Michael needs someone - for Michael and I'm glad he's taking a chance on Ava.


Blanket enthusiastically says as he’s bobbing up and down on his chair. That boy reminds me so much of myself growing up. Always up to mischief, hanging off of the furniture like he’s a monkey in a zoo or playing pranks on his brother and sister.

There's not a lot printed about the children personality wise, but I imagine Blanket being mischievous - a prankster like a young Michael... :wub2:


His awkwardness just reminds me so much of myself at his age, it’s scary, like looking in a mirror.

Same with Prince. From what I understand, he's somewhat unassuming like Michael... *sigh* :wub:

And from what I read about Paris, she's fiesty and tough - I think more like Debbie. I think it was Michael who said she stands up for herself. I can also imagine that she would be 'very' protective of her Dad and not want any other girl getting close to him. She seems to be a true Daddy's girl...

Your descriptions of them from the 'discussion' over movies, Blanket chiming in about Daddy's girlfriend, Paris freakin' out about Daddy's girlfriend, Paris smirking at her brother, sharing suppertime, conversation, kisses, hugs - all so cozy... :wub::wub2: What a cute little family scene.

Loved the chapter, lady~
I've only seen text messaging as a form of communication in one other story that I've read so I'm thinking "how cool is that"? :cool: Very tasteful addition...

I can't wait to see how the kids react to Ava. I'm sure she's going to be just fine with meeting them...

I know I've already said I am very impressed by the determination that he has to 'show' her how badly he wants her in his life. It's admirable that he is willing to push the physical aside (a rarity in a man) to show her that it's greater than that...

Wow, I am loving this story so far! I'm just starting it, but I already like the characters. The description of the Strip really brings back memories. And the Chihuly glass! I've never actually been inside the Bellagio, but I've been to a Chihuly installation (GORGEOUS) and have seen pictures of the Bellagio lobby ceiling and I'm sure it's incredible. Sorry - tangent! I like this couple and I like the mix of sweet, lovely, funny Michael and troubled, lonely Michael. It feels real. :wub:

Oh, I feel spoiled! Came back here to find two chapters waiting, one of them pretty long too. Sexyeyes, you've made my day sweetie! I love the concept of them starting over. I am glad Michael realizes what he feels for her and I love that we get both POVs. I was a little nervous too about Ava meeting Princess Paris but I am glad to see that she has partially conquered all three of them or at least Paris is cordial with her. Thanks for the PM, sexyeyes. That was beautifully written! I love how Michael was so set on being a gentleman and behaving himself. When Ava took charge though, I knew she was hooked. She can't resist him and had no qualms showing it to him. The part where she wonders how she managed not to scream out "I love you" is just precious. Another great update. The whole dream sequence was very well written, very emotional. i wonder whether she will tell Michael the whole story when they're both properly awake:huh:

Aww what an emotional chappy. I feel bad for Ava :( She is really torn about her father and misses him so much. I really liked the ending when they said \'I love you\' to each other. That was soo cute but Ava needs to tell Michael about Lucas. God knows what else lucas has up his sleeves-but Michael would do anything to protect her.

I just hope she tells him because Mike will be questioning her as to why she was at dat club. Anywayz can\'t wait for the next update!

When she ran to the apparition that was her father, I knew she was near death... Her hugging him, smelling him, the \'you can\'t be with me - not yet\', and the \'stay with me\' accompanied by the \'I love you\'... just... just... :boohoo:

I absolutely \'adored\' the way they finally said the L word! :wub2: And the way she turned to face him and settled into his chest - warm, comforting.... just *sigh*...

Two things I\'d like to see happen when they wake:

1. Them say "I Love You" again :cupidwub:

2. Her tell him about Lucas :yuk:
